We are delighted that Electron Green has installed a solar PV system on our rooftop. Their system is supplying us with green electricity at a price lower than grid electricity, which will cut our electricity bill and carbon footprint at the same time. We believe that any business with a large rooftop should take up this opportunity of free solar with Electron Green.”

    The Industry

There are a series of voluntary agreements that aim to reduce the carbon emissions from the UK food and drink sector. This needs significant action to meet, for example, the Courtauld target of a 50% reduction in emissions by 2030. Solar is a perfect part of the programme: warehouse roofs tend to be big enough to easily accommodate a large solar PV system which can supply electricity directly into the building.
